Hello! And A Very Warm Welcome
I'm Gemma the artist, paper illustrator, and animal lover behind Paper Pawtraits. I work from my cosy little studio in Wolverhampton, helped (and often supervised!) by my five mischievous rabbits: Blizzard, Marbles, Laguna, Skye, and Amber.
Each colourful creation is lovingly hand-drawn, cut, and layered using beautiful, high-quality recycled papers. Every piece is handmade here in the UK using sustainable materials, and all our cellophane packaging is fully compostable! We hand finish and pack every single card in the studio, making sure every detail is just right.

I believe in creating art that feels joyful and heartfelt , little pieces of happiness that are made to be treasured. Every design is made with love and care, capturing special moments and thoughtful words that can be kept forever, as a reminder of the bonds we share with the people and pets who mean the most.
Inspired by my love of animals, nature, and storytelling, I pour my heart into creating bespoke pet portraits, joyful stationery, and whimsical paper toys. I hope my work brings a smile to your face and helps celebrate the wonderful animals who brighten our lives. ✨
With over 15 years of experience, I blend my love of animals, folk art, and papercraft to create one-of-a-kind pet portraits and whimsical stationery. I hold a BA Hons in Creative Arts and diplomas in Zoology and Photography, all of which inspire my designs and passion for storytelling through paper.
